When you click Proceed on the landing page, PrepIt sets a random,
anonymous visitor_id cookie in your browser (no account, no personal
details). This cookie is used to keep your chat history scoped to your browser and
to apply rate limiting. It is stored for up to one year unless you clear your
cookies.
Chat messages you send, along with any feedback you submit, are stored against this
anonymous visitor_id — not against your name, email, or any other
identifying information.
Before minting the visitor_id cookie, PrepIt runs an invisible
verification challenge using
Cloudflare Turnstile
to confirm you're a real visitor rather than a bot. This happens automatically —
no puzzle or checkbox is shown. Turnstile may collect limited technical signals
(such as browser and network characteristics) to make this determination. See

for details on how that data is handled.
We don't require sign-up, don't collect names or emails, and don't sell or share your data with third parties beyond the Cloudflare Turnstile verification above.
